Welcome to Saint Kentigern College
As strong today as the day the College opened in 1953, the Mission of Saint Kentigern is to provide an education that 'Inspires students to strive for excellence in all areas of life for the glory of God and the service of others'.
Saint Kentigern College delivers a world class education for boys and girls from ages 11 to 18 years old in Auckland, New Zealand. The College is located on a leafy 100-acre campus bordering the beautiful Tamaki Estuary in Pakuranga, Auckland.
Curriculum
Academic success is expected of every student at Saint Kentigern and we challenge our young men and women to excel. An unparalleled range of subjects is taught in modern, specialist facilities. In the final two years of school, the International Baccalaureate Diploma programme is taught by talented educators, who are highly qualified and passionate in their areas of expertise. They are committed to creating an environment that encourages, motivates, and challenges every student to realise their personal potential.
Co-Curricular Activities
Our sports facilities and coaches are among New Zealand's best and we enjoy success in regional and national competitions. We are also deeply committed to the performing arts. Our Drama and Dance students learn in dedicated spaces and perform in a purpose-built performance venue. In addition, our separate Music Centre provides superb, soundproofed facilities for our choral and instrumental enthusiasts.
Boarding
Bruce House, with separate houses for boys and girls, is the place our boarders call home. Boarders are involved in every facet of College life and develop lasting friendships and a strong sense of school spirit. Students from as far afield as Germany, Russia, China, Korea, Thailand and the Pacific Islands come to Saint Kentigern to enjoy the many benefits of studying in New Zealand and to enjoy Saint Kentigern’s unique learning environment.
