SEK-El Castillo School is a privileged place for coexistence and learning in the broadest sense of the word. The High Artistic Performance School (Music and Dance), the Artistic or the Research Baccalaureates, the different sports schools or the enrichment projects in collaboration with the Camilo José Cela University, are some examples.

We have been authorised as an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School for over 40 years. Currently our students can take the IB Primary Years, Middle Years and Diploma programmes either in English or following an English-Spanish bilingual syllabus, with outstanding examination results. We are also accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) in conjunction with IB with a process of quality assurance: the Collaborative Learning protocol with a focus on impactful learning processes.

In addition, as part of our commitment to talent development, we offer a high-performance sports programme: SEK International Sports Academy (we are the academic partner of important clubs such as Real Madrid). This programme allows athletes to combine their academic studies with their training and competing schedules. We are members of the Boarding School Association, our boarders enjoy a wide range of facilites to enhance their learning. As part of our provision to develop engaged and active young adults, we offer students the opportunity to participate in the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh International Award.
