Academic results are consistently excellent, with both MYP and Diploma students achieving well above world average scores year after year. As a result of the impressive average point score of 36 in 2020, 93% of students went on to be placed at their first choice of university.

With more than 1000 children from 50 countries, SIS is more than just a school, it's a place where individuals flourish. Throughout the IB programmes, internationally qualified teachers provide a challenging, nurturing and academically-rigorous education. Specialist programmes in polo, golf, tennis and music provide opportunities for talented students to excel.

As an Apple Distinguished School, the use of technology is creatively embedded into the curriculum for all students from the age of 3, while the F1 in Schools programme and the Hyperbaric Challenge provide an exciting way for students to learn Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) related subjects. Students are encouraged to think independently and critically, developing their unique interests, gifts and talents benefiting from opportunities to be the best they can be.

Sotogrande International Boarding House is a warm vibrant community, where the staff are dedicated to caring for, and getting the best out of each individual. The academic support received by students is reflected in IB Diploma exam results and University destinations of our boarding students.

Students are encouraged to take part in every aspect of boarding life helping them to grow into happy, motivated and morally committed citizens of the world.
