Bilingual and co-educational since 1962, TFS is renowned as Canada's leading bilingual International Baccalaureate (IB) school, providing an internationally focused education with high academic standards to over 1,500 students. Teaching the curricula of France and Ontario through the framework established by the IB programmes, we offer our students an education that is rich in academic excellence, diversity and opportunity.

Authorized to offer the PYP, MYP and IB Diploma, TFS is an IB World School and the only full continuum bilingual IB school in Canada.

We welcome boys and girls from age two to university entrance. No prior knowledge of French is required for entry up to and including Grade 7. Thanks to our Introductory Program, we successfully integrate students with no background in French. While 90% of TFS students have little or no knowledge of French when they enrol, they graduate fully bilingual with an international outlook that sets them on a path to a bright future.

TFS' mission is to develop multilingual, critical thinkers who celebrate difference, transcend borders and strive for the betterment of humankind.

Our educators come from around the world to teach at either our Toronto or West Campus in Mississauga, and provide a caring and supportive learning environment that encourages students of diverse backgrounds to become individuals who reflect, and citizens who act.

We demonstrate our commitment to the development of the whole child through stimulating academic and co-curricular programs that include recreational and competitive sports, music, visual and dramatic arts.

In addition to being authorized by the IB, TFS is accredited by the Ministry of Education of Ontario, the French Ministry of Education, and Canadian Accredited Independent Schools (CAIS). TFS is also a member of the Conference of Independent Schools of Ontario (CIS), the Council of International Schools, and Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger (AEFE).
