Sotogrande International School (SIS) is proud to announce that it has been reaccredited as an Apple Distinguished School for 2018–2021.

The Apple Distinguished School designation is reserved for schools that meet criteria for innovation, leadership, and educational excellence and demonstrate a clear vision of exemplary learning environments.

Apple Distinguished Schools demonstrate the use of Apple hardware, apps, and content to promote creativity, collaboration, innovation, and critical thinking to transform learning and teaching.

SIS use Apple technology to help deliver the school’s educational goal of creating extraordinary educational experiences which help learners connect with their unique gifts and talents.

They operate a 1 to 1 iPad programme in the primary school, allowing their youngest learners to explore technology and to choose different ways to capture their learning and a 1 to 1 MacBook programme in secondary, enabling students to further develop their skills and learn about industry level programmes through the curriculum.

All teaching staff and classrooms are fully equipped with the latest Apple technology and the school has 4 dedicated Mac Labs and other shared areas equipped with Mac minis, thus empowering students and teachers to be creative and explore learning in an interactive and different way.
