The International School of Penang (Uplands) is delighted to live by our vision statement and to make a positive difference by engaging with our local and wider community.
We donated 47 units of refurbished iPads and 72 units of Dell Desktops and monitors to Soroptimist, a volunteer community service organization based in Penang, Malaysia. These devices are to be distributed to local students who are in need through Penang Science Cluster and a few local schools.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Serena Liuminjuan, Ann Fang and the President of Soroptimist Penang, Michele Lim on this collaborative community education empowerment initiative.
