The IB Career-related Programme (CP) is designed for students aged 16 to 19. It incorporates the vision and educational principles of the IB into a unique programme specifically developed for students who wish to engage in career-related learning.
The CP’s flexible educational framework allows schools to meet the needs, backgrounds, and contexts of students. By engaging with a rigorous study programme that genuinely interests them, CP students gain transferable and lifelong skills in applied knowledge, critical thinking, communication, and cross-cultural engagement.

The CP framework allows students to specialize in and focus on a career-related pathway. CP students must complete at least two Diploma Programme courses alongside their selected career-related studies and the distinctive CP core, which is designed to connect academic courses and the career-related study and provide students with a combination of academic and practical skills.
